Engine choices for the 1500 classic include: 195 hp 4. 3-liter v-6, a 285 hp 4. 8-liter v-8 and a 295 hp 5. 3-liter v-8. The 5. 3-liter v-8 can be equipped to run e85 fuel and an aluminum variant of the 5. 3-liter v-8 can make 310 hp. The denali luxury trim comes with a more powerful 345 hp 6. 0-liter v-8. The gmc sierra 1500 classic is a carryover from 2006.
